    Corrado Vr6 v Gsi Turbo

    raced one the other day on a two mile private strip, i was five up, He was on his own and from 85 to 130 it was pretty close then i passed him, he didnt look pleased, but still quick cars didnt relise they were that useful as they look so bland.

    having had a Golf VR6 i would love a Corrado VR6, couldnt care less if a GSi is faster they are lovely cars and the VR6 noise is gorgeous.

    With 190 brake and 145mph top end im very surprised you beat him five-up! We're they 5 Hamsters?
    Any info on V6 MK4 conversions greatly appreciated!

    They are lovely, one of my old neighbours had a VR6 Storm and that was lovely. Shame he drove it like an old man, overtook him on my 125 one day such a waste.

    it certainly wasnt a walk over i was right behind him till 120, must say my pre-cat and milltek cat back makes a differance after 4000 rpm. my four passengers weighed in at 270 kg's. combined.

    Awesome cars, absolutely awesome, and going up in value now too. One of the best future classics. A worthy investment if you buy a good one!

    IMO, if the Corrado had been the same age as ur GSi (Im talking if it was possible), and therefore had an engine of similar age, I reckon it would have been a different story personally.
