depends what turbo engine it is

if it is a z20let then quite a bit i would imagine

if it is a c20let it is cheaper and easyer to reach this

That rolling road session was a joke from what I hear. I have heard many stories about the cack operators whi didn't have a clue, inflated figures, heatsoak, bad strapping down of cars etc.

Lot more car are being tune up to 300BHP and past now - because tuners have now got a greater range of products and the Z20LET market is starting to mature - know-how has increased and so has the technology. -

People are spending more money on their cars, so 300BHP will become a much more common sight

Just like C20LETs - at first there was a 300BHP glass ceiling - then all of a sudden - everyone was tuning to 300BHP pretty easily.

Extracting 300Hp is never going to be as easy as getting 300 from the C20LET - due to legislative and manufacturing limitations. - But expect to see many more.

If GM can get to 240 (VXR) as a roadgoing car meeting all emessions - then 300 is becoming attainable to the tuners.
why do today what you can...... I'll finish this later

or 4x4. I think the next generation will have a 4x4 option as it will most likely share a Saab platform which are also Subaru based. Fingers crossed......

I find it hard to believe that a proper engine tuner would struggling to get 300bhp from a 2ltr 16 valve turbo engine!

300bhp is easy - but getting a decent power delivery and reliability is the problem. Turners are not going to produce a kit which will get them more bad press than good.

I think we will learn a bit off the new VXR engine - under piston cooling for example. I think the Z20LET has just as much potential as the C20LET and certainly has the better ECU and self preservation features. The only thing that may hold back the Z20LET over the C20LET is the restrictive head design, but that is not so important on turbo engines as it is on NA engines.
