    Bug Epedemic hits France....

AND MOST OF THEM ARE ON THE FRONT OF MY ASTRA

We decided to take a day trip to France yesterday to pick up an additional supply of Booze and ciggys. We travelled down to Dover and got the ferry accross and decided (for a change) to head towards Belgium and Oostend, Most of the journey was done on the A16 in France\Belgium which has a nice 130kmh limit so it made for a nice cruise with the windows down and the music turned up

When we arrived back at City Europe this was what the front of the car looked like,

Took me a good 10min of concentrated Karcher'ing to get most of those off !! not to mention a good 15mins scrubbing to get it looking immaculate again.

    Damn summertime

Cling film is seemingly a VERY BAD IDEA !
It melts onto the bumper making it hard to remove !

How much was the ferry ?, did you pre book ?

I've seen people travel to shows with the polish still in its 'haze' then just wipe off !

Yeah - I have seen people use the old Cling film trick as well. Never seen any problems with it myself as long as you don't cover the front grills as one muppet I know did (not me !!)

Ferry was 38 with P&O Stena Line which was booked about 3 or 4 days prior to travel.

I did the cling film thing for Trax last year, seemed to work ok although I lost some of it on the way!

We had a bit of a fly attack on the way to the BTCC today but on a white car you tend to see all the red fly blood. Nice.
