    fitting audi/merc rims 5x112 ? FAO MatG/Pete etc

    most of them have a centre bore of 56.1 so how have people got them on their vxl's ?. Re-bored ?

    any help appreciated

    find a decent local machine shop to rebore them for you, and fit wobbly bolts Job done. depending on the wheel and the company they should do this for you, if you go direct

    fogot to add, I have got around the problem in a different way now and had adaptors made up so that the PCD is correct for the adaptor and I can now fit proper bolts. but being 20's the arches had to be cut away anyhow so it wasnt an issue if they came out another 15mm or so.

    Thanks Mat, is machining a big job ?. cost much ? and safe ?. I'd be buying the wheels second hand.

    Be interested to find out what pete's 19" rim is fron as it's a 5x112 and good centre bore size

    cpearson, rochford tyres ( a fink it was them) were going to do them in a suposedly vaux fit for my coupe...

    According to South Coast Wheels, it`s a merc fitment. 5 x 112 centre hole is 66.7 ish

    yeah, dunno what i was thinking earlier...think i'm sorted just need to sort wobbly bolts...also I've heard that you can get a locking nut for wobbly bolts, anyone know someone who stocks them ?.
