    Mountain Biking

Iíve decided to purchase a mountain bike (probably off EBay) as at the moment I donít do much exercise and want to get into shape!

Does anyone own a mountain bike for exercise purposes? What would you recommend? My budget is around £200 second hand off EBay. At the moment Iíve got my eye on a Kona Fire Mountain and preferably I want to get a Kona.

And anyone in the North West or north Wales that can recommend some good riding spots?

    Thanks.

Horseshoe Pass & Panorama are both good biking spots located by Llangollen, depends how far you want to travel really.

Ive had a few bikes, and apart from my brothers Klein my Kona feels just that little bit better than anything else.

You have sooo many different riding spots around you. Just get a copy of What Mountain Bike or MBR and you will find lots of maps in them and links for websites.

Fire mountain....from memory (been out of the bike scene for 4 years!), is it not a rigid bike?

Ian used to have the Kona cindacone he got it when it first came out, he spents shite loads on it... in total it was worth £1700.

Then had to sell it after his accident, I want to get a mountain bike by the end of the year... and I'm going with Kona.

Apparantly there are some great places in wales to ride. Not sure where, only heard as his brother lives there and he is always out on his bike
