    1/4 mile yesterday..

Went to Santa Pod yesterday and managed to get 10 runs in for the first time in ages (usually only manage 3 or 4).

    I got 1 run at 14.8
    5 runs at 14.7
    3 runs at 14.6
    and 1 run at 14.5

Best of the day being 14.592 @ 96.4mph

What 1/4 mile times have others got with stage 1? Also be interest in stage 2, 3, 4 etc..

They seem good for stage1. I would be happy with under 14.5 from mine with CS3.

they are good times, I remember the Regal coupe with stage 3 getting some very poor times a few years back at PVS, high 15's to low 16's iirc.

and those times are possible wit TC on. I made 15.0 something or over last year at POD with a standard car (had cat back exhaust though).

I can't switch my traction control on and off, don't get the option in the coupe. These times were recorded with about 1/4 of a tank of fuel and the rear seats taken out.

Sorry mate think you misunderstood. I believe your times and am just saying that you don't need to kill the TC to get good times. I found it helped my luanch.

**can't believe you cheated by taking the rear seats out

one you could do for next time is put 2 space savers on the back of the car as it is less resistance to the track - saw this somewhere but can't remember where.

To loose 2 seconds on a 1/4 mile you'll need a hell of a lot more bhp £££'s.

You'd be best trading it in for a coupe turbo in all honesty.

Re. the 2.2, there isn't much around to turn this engine. If you want to drop your time by 2 seconds with that engine, you would probably need a supercharger kit.
