    Diesel

I just went past two petrol stations near me and they are both charging 90p for diesel

At this rate, probably better off buying a petrol motor than a diesel?

most people think they will save money buying a diesel car automatically which isnt the case. for the avarange person doing 10-12k a year its cheaper buying a petrol car (diesel models usually sell for a few grand more) and the fact that petrol itself is cheaper adds to that.

If you do a BIG mileage then it will pay off over time.

We worked it out at work and you need to be doing 25k + per year for a diesel to be n economically viable option really, which very few private car owerns do, but diesel sales are expectedto grow (and are).

Yup, the 1s down here are about .89p. I bet the prices fall slightly as labour fights for no.10 then rise once its all finished.

89.9 in the grotty shed across the road, 82.9 for Unleaded. Have seen it over 90p a litre in the town centre.

    Tell me about it

bloody buy one to save on fuel costs

what bugs me is that the the deisel used to be cheaper when no one drove them

then everyone gets them and it goes through the roof

still costs the same to produce so who is pocketing the rest?
