I'm 18 and I'm currently driving a mk3 1.4LS
I'm paying £600 insurance as a named driver for the LS, which seems a bit much but anyway I will be first driver on this car very soon...probably third party but i dunno for sure yet.
Was wondering...is there ANY way I can be insured on my dads 2.016v Calibra (group 14) without paying an arm and a leg for it. The car is parked in a quiet neighbourhood with low crime. I won't be driving it as regularly as the astra but if I'm doing long motorway trips then I want to be able to take it...in other words my dad will still be the policy holder.
Can I do anydriver insurance? or hold fully comp insurance on another car and be insured to drive anycar or is there an age limit for this. If anyone can find a way of insuring me for under a grand i'll send £10 to them in the post
Don't worry...i'm not a boy-racer...no seriously I'm not lol (if only the insurance companies understood that)
