OK not particularly interesting but I got the last few bits for my Skoda today before its little trip off to the body shop at the end of April. The n/s/f has been 'nudged' at some point in the past and been filled (not particuarly well i might add) and a bit of rust has started to creep through. So at £35 for a genuine front wing i thought I wouldnt mess about and got a new wing sorted. The arch trim (bodykit) is also cracked from i guess the same 'nudge' so grabbed one of them aswell. The long black panel below is a replacement trim of the tailgate that will replace the 'iffy' spoiler. Toiled for a few weeks on if I should keep the spoiler on the back, its had something dropped on it and has cracked so it would either need replacing or repairing. Opted for the cheaper and maybe more tastefull option of fitting the trim from a regular pick up, should look good and keep the clean lines.
the bits..woo hoo
As I said its off to my mates bodyshop at the end of April where it wil have a 'freshen' up, not straying to far from the "Fun" original spec but colour coding the bodykit so its the same colour as the rest of the car, its gonna be quite yellow And I think ive sorted a solution to my suspension quest for lowness so all going well it should be looking good for 2005 where im a 'specail' guest But for now it still looks like this..
And yes Mat ive decided to bin the frogs
