    Boot Lighting

If i was gonna stick a neon in the bot to light up the install, how would i power it, i don't really want to have to run a wire for it from the battery in the engine, is there any way i can take a feed off the rear light or something?

Detailed explanations of the easiest/best way would be appreciated.

Make sure the standard wiring can handle the extra load. 3 neons should be ok - anymore than that and I would consider wiring in a new wire.

cheers guys, i'll have a look into this tomorrow if i've got time.

    Then order some more neons.

How do i access the wiring for the interior boot light, do i need to remove the panel it sits in, or does it just pop out?

Another option for power in the boot is the wiring thats there for tow bar electrics, usually just needs the fuse in the fuse board under the dash

Yep so far every car i've looked at has it. If you remove the plastic panel along the front of the boot as you open it it's behing there in a unused multi connector. Red wire
