    calipers(sp?)

im thinkin of painting my brake calipers but not sure what colour i should go for,
ive got a 1.8SRi in red,

also whats the best paint to use and as ive only got the std jack in the boot to lift the car i guess i should invest in something decent to lift 2 wheels at a time has anyone got any suggestions?

Oh - I've never had a problem with using Smoothrite, and you get a great choice of colours.
you just need to be very through with the prep tho, and remove all the crud and any loose rust

i was thinkin that originally but want sure is blue would look either really good or really s*it,
has anyone got any ideas on paints or what i shiuld use to hold the car up while im doing it,

bear in mind ive never even changed a wheel before so it might be a bit of a job for me, do i need to remove the calipers or should i just paint them while there on the car?

Best to remove the caliper, but leave hose attached and then remove the bracket totally. It'll give you a fighting chance to get all the crud cleaned off

Looks everything you need to get it off the ground. only ever jack a car on the flat and on a proper solid surface, like concrete.
