    alarm and immobliser q's?

i got a few little questions im hopnig someone can answer for me,

firstly does anyone know why every no and again (somtimes when i take the key from the ignition, sometimes driving down the road, sometimes after locking, completly random) my car beeps 4 times, (sound like its coming from the alarm) it never used to do this but all of a sudden does its quite alot, at least every other journey?

secondly after "astramods" helped me fit a new stereo, cd changer etc. where we had to disconnect the battery a few times a light has been flashing on the dash and it wont start (looks like a car with a spanner thru it, i think its the immobiliser) most of the time i just take the key out and put it back in and its fine but other times can take a few mins to sort,

Ive got no idea if these are connected or not both just started happeneing the last few days, the only idea i can come up with for the immboliser one is the battery is very low in my key cos its doesnt work very well and it says in the manual if the light flashes try thr spare key,

    Thanks for any help

the battery pack does work cos we kept setting the alarm off when we disconnected the battery....lol.

would a tech2 show the probs easily? and if it is just a battery pack is it a simple fix?

power sounder is what it might be if so this what you need to do buy a new one
    Don't just unplug it.....
Put the ignition on first, and leave it on while you unplug and fit the new one.
Otherwise if you just unplug it... it will just go off, and i don't think you can stop it once you have done it.
    No programming needed.
do a search on power sounder mate
