get your self a zorst system say £300 it would help as your getting the remap done
do the front pipe on the air box as well £13 from vauxhall for the parts, i take it you have a astra gsi turbo?? where is the remap being done?.why not put the remap off for a bit then get it done after some hardware mods it will work out better that way mate. I
would do pre car on your car and a full zorst system aswell do the intercooler then get a remap will give you more power that way
    1.per cat £199
2.exhaust see if any one on hear has one for sale i know one person that might
3.intercooler new about £500 or used about £300
    4.then get the remap

Having the remap done with the mods you have is fine. You won't run into any problems BUT from general experience I wouldn't expect to achive the
    quoted performance figures from AMD.

The GSI exhaust system is quite restrictive and to release some of the power that's clogged up in that system you need to bang on a Cat Back exhaust system. There is also the option of having the precat and the main cat replaced, with the precat is as important as the remainder of the exhaust as it creates yet another serious bottle neck.

In the meantime before you have stage 1 fitted - you will need to get yourself some cooler running irridium spark plugs. This is actually part of the Stage 1 kit from Regal and is advised when running stage 1 on the GSI Turbo. You could also install the Veccy C intake pipe as suggested but aside from that there isn't really alot your going to be able to do.

This shows the two pipe sets. You can see how much smaller the original one is.

I'd at the very least get the precat pipe on there.

Fair enough, just seen more people that have been complaining about poor service, and questioning some of the figures that AMD 'achieve'. Go back a year and they could do no wrong ....

pre-cat alone is worth around 10bhp apparently. I would say alittle lower but is a noticeable gain in torque and bhp
