    Dynamat or Brownbread?

Ive just put my old subs and amp in the boot of my coupe and it vibrates like hell and sounds pretty crap!

I know i need to sound deaden it, but not sure how much i'd need just for the boot? Anyone got any ideas, and also, does anyone know any online UK websites which sell the material in this amount, want to order today if possible. Ive been told theres not much difference between the dynamat and brownbread so either suits me.

    Cheers

i found the most vibrations and resonance occurs in the tailgate trim panel, i filled my corsa tail gate up with expanding foam and it had huuuuugely good effects! havent taken astras bum trim off to see about exp foam possibilities yet, but thats where id start. for dynamat or BB go to www.caraudiodirect.com, they sell trunk kits, custom packs, wedge packs etc. theres bound to be something that suits your needs
Any info on V6 MK4 conversions greatly appreciated!

Never a truer word spoken..... A bit pricey but the best things in life never are!

As for expanding foam unless you are doing SPL, or are prepared to pay for the mess up if you put to much and you warp the panels then by all means... Definately not something to be recommended for the non experienced!

    Thinking of getting this:

    http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/prod...2c73418dc740f8

its a dynamat trunk kit for £80.
"The Trunk Kit includes five sheets - 3 sheets of Original (12 sq. ft.) and 2 sheets of Xtreme (8 sq. ft.) - for a total of 20 sq. ft. (1.9 sq. meters)."

Would this be good for a coupe's boot?

    This is my boot:

Theres also one other query, on the roof of the boot the padding only covers some of the area - there is uncovered metal around the side of this padding. Would i dynamat that? Just thinking it may look a bit silly as you would see the dynamat, but at the same time, would i still get vibrations by missing it out?

This is what i mean by the top of the boot:

So would i sound deaden under the fabric bit only, or around the edges etc aswell?

I would just do the bit under the fabric.

Let me know how it goes! I'll be doing mine soon!
