    Back pressure?

How can you find out if an exhaust is causing back pressure?

Some back pressure is necessary (in turbo's) to provide torque but there is no direct correlation - ie more back pressure does not necessarily equal more torque.

What problems you having? - what exhaust do you have? - isn't it a milltek?

No I had a custom powerflow exhaust made up with a 3.5" pipe either side of the car. It's been running quite oddly since then and I'm sure I'm loosing power through back pressure. The car will pull then start to really struggle then pull again..

I'm probably going to change the back box for a single exit but thought I'd check to see if there was a way of checking whether it is back pressure causing the problem.

When I had mine built the guy specifically designed the exhaust for torque, hence why mine was running massive torque figures for its phase setup
