Question Astra GSi and Coupe Tubro Brake Duct Gen.

    Are these the same?

I have bought a GSi bumper but one duct is missing. The guy I bought it off said he will dig out that duct and send it to me - but I was just wondering if they are the same anyway.

    Thanks.

Yeah - they are the same - the duct is fixed to the car - so aslong as you have both on your car then you can mate it up to the inlet in the bumper.

BTW - GSI bumper uses less screws than the coupe bumper - so you may have some left over!!

Cheers for that - would have wound me up trying to find where they go! Just need a fog lamp and I'm ready to go.

I have the Coupe Turbo, so this should already be in place right?

Coupe turbo has that already - and the ducting is all in place -

On a coupe turbo bumper the lower black plastic section has the two cut-outs - if you feel behind those - under the car - you can feel the ducting feeding back to the brakes.

You would only need the modified arch liners if the car was a non-turbo coupe/Cabrio.

Nice. Saw the ducts when I changed the springs over the other weekend. I didn't know the Turbo had them - well impressed.

    Yep - Ventilated Front Discs

When I first got the car I thought there cut outs in the lower section where extra air intakes for the induction system - but after investigation found out they were for the brakes.
