Where to fit a Mutli Changer

    Hi

Can anyone tell me where the best place is to fit a 10 Disc multi Changer in the boot of an Astra G.

Pics would also be a bonus... Is this something I could fit myself...

    Thanks

    Rob

    any where really

it depends what your boot install is like at the mo and if you want built into your exsiting install or just screwd down anywhere it will fit

as long as it is screwed down sucurly and at the correct angle it really can go anywhere

i would suggest bultding up the area above the wheel arch and sticking it in the fist aid comparmane bit ( over left hand side arch)

have you considered fitting it in the glovebox?? you will need to roemve the shelf but it should fit and is then 2hand if you want to change the CD's in it or take the magazine out at nite

I had a 10 disk Sony CDX-656 changer which I was contemplating fitting into the area where the 1st Aid and Locking key are stored Just to the right as you look into the boot. I was going to create a false panel with a mounting and slot to gain access to change the magazine.

I then had second thoughts and got a T69 6 disk changer which fits perfectly on top of the tray in the glove box. I picked a spare glove box so I could cut a hole for the cable to go through and replace the origonal one if and when I change the car.

I just want to screw the changer down really. But dont watch to screw into somewhere where it may cause problems...

Wheres the best place to screw it into then in the boot. Standard boot at the moment.

When fitting them at work we always go for either the glove box or on the passenger side of the boot on the side right up by the lights rather than back by the seats

Yeh that is where I would put it if anywhere in the boot, either parallel to the boot lip or parallel with the passenger side.

Yeah just with self tapers, if yoo go by the boot opening there is nothing the other side of the boot floor

WE tend to then put one slice in the carpet so it sits on the side of the multiplay
