Angry getting annoyed with ebay.... read....

got quite a few things up for sale at the moment on my ebay account...

    "Hello seller,

    the states.

    Regards."

Quality. So I'm not going to see the money for this sale! And I'm gonna owe ebay like a tenner or so for the sale atleast. And I had to pay another £2 odd to readvertise the laptop again. Pish like. When my astra was for sale I put it on ebay, just so people would be able to check it out - and my god the amount of crappy emails I got about it. "oh I'd love so much your car as wedding gift for my (mother, sister, old gran, next door neighbours pet hamster ) wedding gift. i will ship to (random far away country). and pay you via (random bank / PA will send a cheque / heavy's will come to your door) immediately" nice one like.

hope ebay sorts this out - sent an email to customer services complaining. Anyone else had this bother? Did it get sorted? etc... any info greatly appreciated ( oh and if anyone wants to actually buy the laptop let me know lol )

    Mate thats not good

To be honest I'm getting pretty pissed off with ebay myself, there are some real wasters on there.

Someone just bought my Motorola V3, I stated I want payment in 3 working days, he emailed me and said "I can pay in 6 working days ok"

can these people not read , checked his feedback and hes got 1 postive and 2 negatives.............. great

Like you that will have cost me a tenner if he doesn't pay

Im VERY pissed of with eBay and in particular paypal which i thought was a secure way to get money.

I sold a DVD player for £50 the guy paid through paypal so i sent the item the next day only to find out the paypal payment had been reversed!! so im out of pocket £50 and not amused.

So you would advise getting the money out of Paypal asap and before you send the item then ?

Definately, i had no idea it could be taken back like that so i always withraw the funds to my bank account first now and then post the item.

WTF : I didn't think the buyer could reverse the payment, that sounds odd, and certainly not safe.

gonna watch that one, there are just too many scammers on ebay, they ruin it for the majority of honest people

yup - ebay are looking into it at the moment for me. The guy did the same to about 5 others going by his feedback - the guy is no longer a registered user and seems to have disappeared with all our money. Very worrying as people put a lot of trust in paypal - thats why ive never minded paying the fees they take.

That's a common scam. EBay will refund your fees.

I've been using Ebay to buy and sell for for over 5 years, and a few transactions have gone funky. EBay have always come through and refunded anything I was due.
