    Testing Water

    Hi

    Thinking of selling my astra as a diesel is going to have to be bought because of new job.

    Specs

    2000
    1.6 16v
    50,000 miles

    17 in wheels
    Front Reiger full bumper and rear valance
    Irmscher front grill
    Irmscher Back box

    Will have full year of mot

    Has white dials and sports seats as standard

    It will be going soon so just want to see the interest.

    as i have said interest in grill, exhaust and wind delectors if is sold privately will let all go, if traded in it will go back to standardish. will let you know. petrolisnt too bad at mo, but wanna change anyway.

    was looking at a vw bora 150 tdi sport on saturday, full leather, just petrol is killing me up and down motorway to belfast at moment

    VW Boring.

    Mk4 LS Eco4 would do you very well if you're doing mostly motorway.

    VW's diesels sound like an old bag of bolts in my opinion, and I'm not convinced by their reliability.

    i like the bora's ave to say big wheels slammed is very pimp an nice...economy and performance is very attractive aswell and comfort...hard to beat...

    i'm sitckin wit the vauxhalls for a while yet :P

    Townparks have a lovely red 2002 SXi 2.0DTi in at the moment, going for £6995. 34k on the clock.

    Was so tempted to swap my Corsa for it (would have been a straight swap), but the Group 7 insurance would have killed me. Paying £900 for the group 3 Corsa. :|

    My insurance should be cheap, but considering I had a few wee bumps when I had the Astra (with one personal injury claim against me still ongoing), my insurance is a bit knackered at the moment.

    I can't imagine you're getting much change from £1500 for the GSI (considering you're female).
