    Question 40K service

    My car's due for its 40k service soon. I need to get the cambelt changed right? People are telling me different thing. Anything else i need to know?? Jen

    vauxhall say 60k but its good practice to change it at 40k. 60k is too long in mine and many people's opinion. Just make sure it has a full service not an interim.

    Full 40k service including timing belt change and brake pads - £115 all in.

    It wasn't a Vauxhall dealer that did it.
    2007 Metro Blue 5 door Mk5 Elite 1.7CDTI
    6th Vauxhall (4th Astra) in 10 years...plus a couple of other sheds...

    £1.91 for 100ml of screen wash they did see you coming
    £27.50p for oil is a bit much should be more like £12
    you could do most of the small jobs your self there in 30 mins and save a bit of cash an stil get the fsh
