    driving me mad

    this may seem like a silly question

    but do all opel/vauxhall/holden astra g's have interior rattles etc

    have had mine for 2 years now and they are getting worse

    i fix one and 2 take its place

    driving me silly

    it's probably subs that are to blame!! Rattling everything to pieces. My car had hardly any rattles before I put my sub in. Best thing is to dynamat everything I spose.

    it is a Vauxhall after all, (or GM anyway) Plus.. my car had no rattles until i lowered it... same as with my Cavalier.. Just got to live with it mate. But it doesnt hurt to tighten all the interior fittings etc.

    Mine rattles now, but as I chose the Y20DTH lump I can't hear the interior noises over the lovely diesel clatter

    Yup, mine rattles too in odd places and funny rattles...... i just turn the stereo up... 17" and low profile tyres make matters worse 10 fold, subs even worse, etc, etc....
    Better get used to the rattles, they DO get much worse
