    Question Ecoteks 10k boost Spray

I only do short journeys to work and back each day about 1mile either way besides other little journeys. So i was just looking to give the engine a clean of some sort with out removing everything (if poss)as i haven't got that much knowledge to strips parts and clean them, and had read a few good reviews on (10k boost cleaner spray)anyone tried it or got an opinion on its perfomance.I use Red X regulary not to sure if its worth it as it doesn't seem to do anything.Any other additives or cleaners worth a try failing this products use or perfomance.

It's just carb cleaner in a fancy tin and twice the price.

Go to Halfarts, get some carb cleaner and use that - the throttle body will benefit form a clean anyway.
If you want to put something in your tankk as well make sure it'll clean you injectors as these get gummed up and lose the proper spray pattern

I've done a product test on this stuff doing mutiple before and after rolling road runs. From memory it made a 3bhp increase on a 80,000 2.0 Ecotech engine (in a Calibra). It seems like good stuff and it is certainly not normal carb cleaner.

Cost is the issue though. It is better than an can of carb cleaner, but is it better than 5 cans of carb cleaner? Up to you at the end of the day.

Oh - stay away from 10k Boost, that stuff really is no better than normal carb cleaner.
