    Air Conditioning probelm

    Can anyone help...

When I put my Air con on normally the revs go up a little when idleing...

When I put it on now the light comes on, on the button but the revs dont move and can't really tell any difference in temps to normal...

    Any ideas

Thats pretty much normal, there should be a dip in rpm when u first switch it on then the revs should go up a bit. its because the AC puts a load on the engine. it also robs about 10% of your bhp aswell
Any info on V6 MK4 conversions greatly appreciated!

Dont forget that the compressor wont kick in if the outside temp is 10 degrees or below. Might be wrong but i think the revs only rise when the compressor comes in to play.

thats right, have a look in your onwers manual but the air con wont work below 4.5 degrees or there abouts, in order to protect it from seizing etc. You can use the air con with the heater aswell for de-misting etc but again, only above certain temps.
