Unhappy Never using a jetwash again

Went to clean the car yesterday using the jetwash and so wish I hadn't

Car covered in scratches - some really deep. The front bumper is knackered along with the bonnet and the driver's side wing Can't even see them polishing out tbh - well peeved.....

Any ideas after the polishing plan?

    Cheers honey......

Although have spoken to Scotty this morning and it's looking more and more likely that it is my fault - I used an aquablade to dry the car off and I think I had some grit in the blade - ouch......

    ...off to the bodyshop again.....

although it gives them chance to put on my new mod and paint it

I hate those aquablade things. I used one on my old car, and needed the whole bonet re-spraying. Luckily I noticed the scratches before I went onto the rest of the car.

I use one of those autoglym rubber blades and it works great. Pricey, but works

I agree - the rubber blades are the best thing since sliced bread (even though I don't eat it!) - Completely my own fault.........should always check whether there is grit on the rubber before applying to bodywork

GSI Lady - I did what it seems you have too. Cleaned the car and then used a 'dirty' aquablade to dry the car. I didnt realise until the bonnet had some nice deep scratches over it.
    bonnet had to be resprayed.

    Cheers Byron!!!

I'll get my begging letters sorted - trying Polish/T-Cut route first - and will let you know whether it will be a complete respray - bonnet, bumper, wing - great................
