small car? ford ka or vxl corsa b

both would be the 1.3 i will be using the car to get to work and have some fun ie strip it out drop it to the floor and put a rool cage in the car stick some 16's on it and a set of brembo's up front
body work will be lo key just std with a new coat of paint or a sport ka body kit ?or the corsa would have the gsi body kit in gray like my old car
what where would be the cheapest place to get one mark jd may know?
dont mind what the car looks like as it will be sorted.
all i want is a car like a go cart just one seat or two small and fun to drive??
if i get a ford ka i would keep the 1.3 lump for a year or to i kill it then drop a escort rs turbo lump in it?.
the corsa would be the 1.2 12v one i think that would stay std for just over a year as well then drop a say 1.616v or a red top 2.0 16v?.

There's more stuff out there for a nova, and more you can do with one.

Besides i've never seen a KA that looks anything near good

    keep with the best m8.
    Vauxhall all the way!
Unless you wana waste your money on a Fix Or Repair Daiky!
Corsa look better to and they can well chip with just the slights tweeks even on a little engine! My m8s got a 1.4 16V and its got an induction kit and its been superchiped and it can blitz past loads 1.8s! Its a decent car so id say the Corsa buddie!

As Brett said, a good condition 106 is a damned good car. I still miss mine, and it was only a 1.1 Independence. Mine was a total lemon though, which is why I don't have it any more. It had engine management issues, but I blame the dealers inability to fix what turned out to be a simple fault. I only discovered the oxygen sensor was at fault after I'd sold the car. 18 months of crap for a £10 part.

Depite that, it was great driving wee car, and went like the clappers. 800kg with a 65hp 1.1 8v that was keen to rev it's nuts off. It was hard on tyres though, cos those wee 13" tyres were spinning all the time.

although i wouldnt buy one, i have to admit i like the ka to drive. My ex had one and i thought it was great fun. Engine is pretty weak but its nippy enough off the mark.

Also i had another one as a courtesy car once and i must say they do excellent handbrake turns.
