    Rip - M435 Eyg

    after months of working on her and countless smiles as i fly past cozzies scoobys etc she failed the MOT yesterday on ALOT of things so after one final top end run and race seesion last night shes stripped today and off to the scrap yard tomorrow

    the car in question is this - a Saab 900 turbo with 185bhp standard

    a the mods include -
    1) koni adjustable suspention on calibra 70mm springs
    2) New ECU to up boost and bhp to 225bhp
    3) full jetex exhaust system
    4) custom Decat pipe
    5) AP Racing induction Kit
    6) and totally stripped out


    hit 157mph but someone thought they would pull in front of it good job the brakes are amazing!!

    its a sad day as it flys and is the ultimate sleeper.

    one thing ive always fancied was a saab turbo, very stealth.

    shame its dead. thought saabs lasted "forever" - whats it failed on?

    one of the subframe threads had gone at the top so the only thing we could do was liquid metal it in there!!

    Emissions (with cat on)

    Head lights

    Turbo on its way out



    Basically you name it it failed L



    Hoping to get another one within the month then swap all the stuff across



    Leaving the ECU off and getting a bigger intercooler instead



    Just cruising down the motorway looks so elegant and sleak really shame its now gone

    seems your right kev - that sounds goosed.

    ive thought about one of those Volvo S40 T4s as well, 200bhp and you seem to be able to get them pretty cheap. i like a good sleeper.

    ex cop cars are your best bet there

    well looked after and usually still tuned

    peoples head snap off when he goes past and the blow off valve kicks in

    he's got a V6 vectra sat on his drive which is MINT apart from blown head gasket - convinced him to fix it and use that as its gorgeous ( he nearly sold it for £400 aswell )


    it really is a need for swede in the sleeper dept there looked at as grandad cars but they dont half shift - ud have to go in one to realise how quick tho!
