    decent panel filter

    could someone suggest a decent panel filter for me please my cars a 1.8sri

    I always recomend Pipercross for exactly the same reasons.

    At the end of the day they do the same job and are both a quality product. Don't think you'll notice much difference between the two.

    Another vote for K&N. Never had a problem in 10 years of use across some wierd and wonderful vehicles.
    2007 Metro Blue 5 door Mk5 Elite 1.7CDTI
    6th Vauxhall (4th Astra) in 10 years...plus a couple of other sheds...

    Agree with Keif - I stick to what I know, same as what Keif does.

    You could try Ramair (as used by the BTCC team) - very good filters indeed.

    I got a courtney foam panel filter pretty impressed with the results, likes to rev more (its a 1.8to)

    IIRC a renamed Pipercross filter.

    cheers guys, ATM im using the K&N 57i but i prefer the panel filter rather then the induction, guess il probably go for the K&N again
