    Engine Conversion?

I think the engine in my car may be on it's last legs, it's a 2.0 16 valve mk4 Sri. It blows a little smoke out now and again and seems to pass me when I am sat at traffic lights. It has 116000 miles on it so I was thinking of some sort of engine conversion. I was looking into a V6 or 2.2 or even a red top 150bhp engine. I have the lads who can do it for me so it's just on what type of engine to go for. Shouls I just put the same lump back in again? The only part I am stuck on is maybe the drivers top engine mount as it not like the others ie Mk3 Astra. It looks like I may have to get a mount welded on. Any info would be great. Thanks

I have been told my car may be burning oil through the exhaust, so thats why I have the smoke from it.

Lol, I have it nearly sorted now. The front end is mint again as I replaced the 2 front struts and the tracking is good again. It's just the engine now, I just don't know what to do with it. I just want this car to drive good and that has a good engine to last me a while.

I don't fancy a turbo one as they tend to be £££ when they go wrong. I can get a Vectra V6 engine easy enough and a red top 16 valve engine, but the top left mount would need some work to make them fit.
