    bit of an odd question

if you leave a car dumped at the side of the road with no tax, insurance and MOT what sort of fines can be opposed on you

dont worry its not me but someone i sort of know (and dont really like) have done just this.

i am thinking of reporting her

to top this i have found out she has been driving her boyfriends car with no insurance aswell

he knows she hasn't got any insurance so could he get done as well as it is his car in his name etc

Yeah shop her, well all pay road tax and keep our cars insured and MOt'd so why shouldn't everyone else

Is she planning on using it again or literally just dumping it?

theres a complex legistlation around abanodond cars and they are the responsabilty is left to the county council to remove, a order has to be left on the car for 7 days before they can even try touching it. I aint going into detail as its late and can not be arsed.
I would just call your rag and bone man to fetch it.

had a word with them today to see what they are doing with the car and i mentioned that they could be fined a fair amount for just leaving it!

they have told me that they are looking into moving it

thats what they said anyway so i have decided to give them a week or so to shift it and then report it!!
don't really want to get people in trouble its just there is enough car crime round here as it is and leaving an open invertation like an abadoned car is just asking trouble!!
plus it is taking up a parking space!!

Shop them anyway, it'll probably take the plod a week to get round to it - last thing you want is the local monkeys starting to dismantle it or even torching it.

It takes one quick phonecall to get a scrappy to pick a reck up - what's there to look into?? it's not like it's gonna be months in the planning
