    Exterior under-car lighting fittment

    Hi all,

The other day I picked my self some under car lighting and basically im plain desperate to get it fitted.
Its actually not neons but instead an LED based kit how ever they are still contained in a tube etc.

For fitting the kit was supplied with clips and they suggest screwing them to the underside of the car.
As you can probably understand I am quite reluctant to do this. The main reason being that the entire under side of my car appears to be covered in some form of metal plate and to be quite honest, I dont know what is under it if anything!
I would use a hayned to figure out if anything is where I plan to fit but I dont have one and right now cant afford to buy one

Any suggestions or help people can give me from their own fitting experiances?

I would zip-tie them on but there is nothing to zip-tie to without making more holes..

    Thanks all

    PS: I have a mk3 astra (1998 R reg)

    Hey m8,

If you look along the sides of the car you should see a sort of lip.
Drill about 3 holes though that in vavious places and screw it into them.
The backs similar but becarefull off the exhaust.
Along the front if you jack it up then u can cable tie it to the forks in the middle,
Should look pucka and good luck
