Stats for Astra G 2.2 SRI??

Whats the 0-60 and top speed for this car? Also MPG if possible?

I'm trying to decide whether to go for one instead of getting the 2.0 SRI.

    Thanks,
    Alex.

Do it. 0-60 is about 7.9 seconds, top out at about 139 and average mpg is around 35.

    You won't regret it.

Some say yes but a lot of people say 147 or there abouts.

Oh, and around 165-170 lb/ft of torque which is a lot for a petrol!

    147ps or about 145bhp

As has already been said they have a lot of torque which makes it a very relaxed drive, mpg wise I managed to achive 37 on a quick round trip to the NEC from maidstone last time I used on.

I think its a good comprimise between the 2.0na and the 2.0 turbo.

If you are just scooting around town mostly and dont really get beyond 60 ofter, I would look at the 1.8 W reg onwards, the 0-60 nearly matches the 2.2 and is far more ecenomical to insure and run.

    I managed 42mpg down the M6 at around 75mph!

But it depends how you drive it.

0-60 on the 2.0 16V and the 2.2 are both 8.5. I'm looking at spending around £4000 so I will probably be able to get a better condition 2.0 16V as the 2.2 only came out in 2000.

According to the VX Brochure the 0-60 for the 2.2 is 8.2
