Question astra coupe 1.8 bertone, what to look for??

hey guys. I'm currently looking at getting a gorgeous dark red astra coupe 1.8 with full irmischer kit. The only thing is it's rather cheap. £7000 from a perrys peugeot dealer for a 51 plate with 22k on the clock.

From the pics I cant see anything wrong with it and im assured by the salesperson at the garage that it's in impeccable condition and there's nothing wrong with the engine, genuine miles etc. Why would it be so cheap? there's 51 plates going for £8k with 40k miles on the clock. I'm going down to look at it at the weekend and need things I should particularly be looking for.

Also any vauxhall workers here, what sort of profit will the garage be making on this car? and how much would i realistically expect to get the car for should all be well?

Perrys vauxhall of doncaster refused to bring this car up to me because they're sure there's something wrong but the garage down south says not. Why would perrys doncaster refuse to sell me a car and not offer me another? The car has a 12 month perry's warranty which can be used at any perrys apparantly.

    Any advice guys?

its not cheep mate, they are just hard to sell, i sold a 51 plate with 18" chromes, kit, zaust etc for 6500, that had 42k on the clock

check for the obvious signs of repair on bodywork, check all electrics, make sure the seat folds properly (common fault)

    good luck

apparantly it was cloth, but it was on the market for much less than any other dealer and with less miles. It was up for £7k but its now sold. I'm looking at a Y reg SE1 with 24k for £5900, worth it?
