Thumbs Down Extremely Stiff Gear Changes

    Hi,

Just recently I have had great diffcuilty in changing gears when above 3000 rpm esp when accelrating up to speed. It is almost impossible to get it out of gear and into next without having to wait till revs die down.

It is ok changing gears when piddling about town.

Anyone know what the prob could be?

    Thanks

As the gear change is via cables (similar to a push bike) - you may need them adjusting

    Hi,

Car decided to not engage any gear at all now (unles engine is off) AA came out and the AA man rekons the Clutch.

I had noticed that when rgoing up hills or accelerating that the clutch was slipping and then the day the car broke it was really bad.

Its at the Garage and they will look at it On Monday 31 Jan with a verdict - and I bet it aint covered under warranty as my Network Q one finised the tail end of jan which covered the clutch !!!

    Goodbye bank balance.

better get mine checked too i think, ive had problems changing gear from day one, from it being stiff to the pedal having a grinding feel/noise when lifting.
was sorted under warranty with vauxhall flushing out the clutch fluid thing...but a few months after its started again
