    My stereo beeped three times?

This is probably nothing but my stereo/inside of car beeped three times last night after I switched off the ignition? My old mans Omega did the same thing some time back and I was unable to work out what it was.
    Anyone have any ideas?
    Cheers.

If it's a sony one, thats what it does as Coo said, to remind you to take the front off

Mine does it, slightly annoying, but it does it's job.

You probably get out of the car quicker than I do, and have just now heard it before

I have this radio fitted to my car and have never heard this 'beep' when switching off the ignition, even when leaving the panel in situ. I have looked through the radio manual and there is no referrence to 'three beeps' in any of the sections. As has been said before it is probably nothing . Has it worked OK since then?, if so don't worry about it.

The CDR 500 doesn't remind you to remove the panel with three beebs!

I think you may be confusing this with the battery backup siren for the alarm which beeps three times is it's faulty (low battery).

I know when my 2.2 did it i thought it was the stereo at first.
