    A question about bucket seats

A friend of mine has a pair of Sparco sprint bucket seats for sale in black, he is selling them for £160 (for the pair) now this sounds like a fair price to me, I hadnt really been in the market for seats but as they're so cheap and not in a "loud" colour I thought they might make a nice feature to my interior, how hard are these to fit, are there any impications, do I need to tell my insurance?

    help appreciated,

    Cheers

its a mod so i would inform your insurance. also if you have a 3 door ive heard the seats have to allow ppl to get in/out easily (problem if they are fixed back)

No problems there then. I would imagine you would need mk3 specific subframes.
I had fixed back cobra monacos in my nova (3dr) and had tilting subframes to compensate for letting people in the back.
No point anyway, as I ditched the rears and stripped the fecker out.

As for insurance, I told them as I removed the OE belts and had 3 point harnesses.

have you got side impact airbags on your car? Would you retain the original seatbelts or fit harnesses?
