    Light Problem - URGENT

    Hello all,

I have a problem on my brake lights, when you put your foot on the brake with the ignition on the pedal lights up the front sidelights.

Any clues, this is pretty urgent so please help !

    Cheers

Sounds like a earthing problem, check for corrosion on the rear light terminals and the earth bolt in the boor

I had exactly the same problem on my G, it turned out to be dodgy bulbs, si I replaced the brakelight bulbs & that (somehow) cured the problem

ok boys, the problem was when i changed the lexus lights back to the originals, i fitted the single filament bulb to a twin filament holder, this bridged the 2 terminals thus making the circuit live down the earth which lit up the sidelights at the front lmao.

if your having this problem you have the wrong bulb in your top brake light. chances are the top and bottom are the wrong way around like mine lol.

    hope this helps
