Rattling boot - driving me crazy

Ok it has been doing it ever since i lowered the suspension but I am finally sick of it...

Does ANYONE know how to stop the boot rattling on a mk3?

Thanks, you'll be keeping me sane!

Try playing around with the rubber stops, found under the boot lid when opened!
Unscrew them anti-clockwise to send them out, only need half a turn a time.

    Hope this helps

Other thing to do is wrap some Duck tape around the U shaped bracket that locks into the latch, it can sometimes be that rattling away to itself !

number plates also rattle, likewise the plastic on the inside is usually clipped on with minimal screws so it will make the rattles worse, use material or something (thickish) between the plastic and metal and foam behind the number plate, screw the rubbers out and it will stop
