    insurance for my astra

Insurance is up 24th of feb. So far got these quotes:
    Tesco £1300
    Quote me happy (not) £1500
    Adrian flux £2500

Its an sxi and in feb will be 18 and have a years no claims
do these sound reasonable? Who else should i try?

will be very surprised if you do much better than tescos price. i know its a lot of cash but its a "good" price for a 17 year old on a fairly sporty car.

Im trying to get quotes for my 18 year old brother on a brand new MG ZS... its just not happening!

people often wonder how you can get quotes which are more than the car is worth but of course you are paying not only to cover the car but any damage you do with it.

...not that im suggesting thats a good price! 7 grand feck sake!

i think they should make people sit tests to find out how dangerous they are.
so mr chav who drives drunk and stoned gets fecked for insurance
and people who respect there cars and spend money on making them look nice don't
