    Warranty Work

As I said on another thread.............

I had a noisy water pump which got replaced yesterday with a new cambelt/roller kit etc aswell as an interior mirror. I picked it up after work, didn't really take any notice of the paper work they gave me.

I got some paper work about the replacement of the interior mirror as this was not covered by warranty but no paperwork for the pump/cambelt work. When I called this morning to ask why they replied we don't issue any paperwork for warranty work as it goes to Vauxhall and also as no money passed hands.

Is this correct? or is this just my dealer?

I'm not knocking the dealer as they just seem to notice things and get on with fixing them.

I have never had any warranty work paperwork. This includes clutch slave cylinderx2, Air flow meter x2 and EGR valve.

I never get paperwork for warranty work either. - not bothered as long as they fix it and don't charge me.

Only reason I wanted some paperwork was if I sell the car I can prove the cambelt was changed.

I'll just have to get them to ring the dealers which is fine by them.
