    My old car in the autotrader

    for £11995

    and they gave me £10800 for it

    third one down

    they have it down as a 2004 car when it is a 2003 and they say it has 14k miles when it had 15k on it when i handed it over

    As for miliage, i remember one coupe I looked at that was advertised with 50k on the clock, spoke to them it had 52k looked at the car and had closer to 54k :roll:

    It makes you sick when you sell a car and the dealer puts it up loads i know they have to like..

    I had a 52reg pug 206 sold it for £7300 and they had it advertised at £10,000

    mate that must hurt. even though that seems a decent trade in price didnt you pay nearer £14k for it? i lost about £2k on the vectra in the 8 months i had it - cars are bloody expensive!

    when i traded it in i owed £12.9

    they gave me £10.8

    Sorry but it doesnt make me sick at all Kev.. Car dealers are there to make money.. they are hardly gonna buy your car for £7300 and sell it on to the next person for £7300 and make nothing at all now are they?? they would be down the drain in now time...

    Forgettin about what you paid for it Craig if they gave you £10,800 for it and are only sellign ti for £12k they arent making much of a profit i think you got a really good deal there mate as they would usually ad on nearer 2k

    Although you lost nearly £3k on it you still got a good deal, as i have seen GSi's going for about the £10k mark lately with 20-30k on the clock

    but it's sad to see Sophee up for sale
