    Colour coding Plastic door trim

    Hi

The plastic door trim/rubbing strips on my 2001 SRI astra have went very grey and now look cr@p. Can someone tell me whats involved in colour codeing them.

E.g What prep do i need to do?
    What primer to use?
What do i need to get from vauxhall to re-attach them on to the car?

    Thanks

It's a doddle to do if you take your time.

Prep - remove strips and sand (wet n dry) as smooth as poss.
Primer - plastic primer/filler and plastic primer - Halfords is good stuff.
Stuff from VX - some new clips as you'll probably bust a few getting the strips off

Rather than spend time typing loads of stuff that's somewhere else on the site, do a search - it's been discussed to death loads of times and all the gen is around somewhere.
