tesco did me a cracking quote on my 1.6 astra (modded) but watch out as many do not cover modified vehicles now.

    The list here is great.

Except for Modded cars your limited to about 6 companies on that page.

Well thanks for reminding me that my insurance was up for renewal. I'm with Royal & Sun Allianace at present but I'd heard that Adrain Flux was pretty good for modded cars so I gave them a ring. My old company quoted me a renewal of £415 fully comp and that wasn't allowing for the fact they knew nothing of my mods, I hadn't told them, naughty me. Adrian Flux took down all the details of ALL my mods and I never really thought there were that many until I had to list them and I still got quoted £343 fully comp inc protected NCB and personal injury insurance. Very pleased and of course I cancelled the old policy and went with Adrain Flux. If you look at my sig you'll see most of the mods but by no means all and they do a like for like renewal on mods in the event of an accident which I'm very happy about.

Oh they did require the car to have a CAT2 alarm though but as I've got a Clifford 950 CAT1 installed that wasn't a problem.

Right, as some of you know i've had a fun few weeks with insuance companies.

Ive rang round loads in the last few days.

My renewal with HIC was £719

Just paid for a year with Adrian Flux at £505

All mods declared on both policies.

Can't wait til my current claim is sorted, i then go back to Full no claims (protected this time) at £380 with Adrian Flux.
