    Exhausts routing under car

    Morning Gang!

Having a new exhaust system fitted tomorrow, n have been offered a dual exit system (cat back), but they said they would need to remove to towing eye/hook from the car as it would clash with the pipe work.

Has anyone else had this removed?

Is it abit risky in terms of MOT etc?

Also, would say Courtney Sport (as im going up there this weekend), use it to lash the car down on the rolling road?

    Cheers!

Keep it simple and keep it clean. leave the exhaust where it should be, and the rear can in keeping with the style of car (ie: not 9 million miles wide) .....

lol! wheelbarrow! Yeah i think im just goin to stick with where it is.

I was going to have side exit (1 either side) as my side skirts had gaps in the rear just in front of the rear wheels, but the amount of work needed to put them in was stupid (ie, cutting out inner rear arch, and removing a huge chunk of the sill, then welding a plate over the gap) plus it would've been silly money to get it built and fitted (not to mention the lack of roads i would b able to go down due to the pipework sitting low)

Will have some pics of it up tomorrow night! wondering which tailpipe to go 4 now!

Macd's powerblow exhaust did John! they had to cut it for the exhaust to sit properly and even macd will tell you it's still squint!

Be very wary of these dual Exits if it's something like Remus or Piper they normally fit without cutting anything but powerblow jobs that are designed on the car basically will result in things being cut!

Wheelbarrow my Arse! Since when did a crossfire driver have any taste ;-D

Anyhow, my wheelbarrow conversion by remus fits on fine without any cutting or trimming and I like it. I did worry weather it would look a bit tacky when I ordered it, but once it was on I knew I'd made the right choice. It looks the dogs bollox in the morning when the condensation slowly barrels out of each side waiting for the lights to turn green. Then its first gear, foot down and under the motorway bridge to an echo'ey symphony of two trombones in full awe inspiring voice, a quick flick through the gears along the carriageway and then just when you thought it couldn't get better you gear down to the ravenous crack of a twin barrel shotgun coughing its dirty load like a cheep whore you forgot to warn before coating her throat in your finest man fat. Priceless! :-D
