    Some new mods

Well as I said I was going to be fitting a Locakble glovebox Latch. Below is the Finished result. I have done a how to which will hopefully be added to the site. Mat I will send this to you tonight.

Next up I have finally fitted the H&R lowering springs (Thanks Steve at LMF for sorting this, you are a Star mate:-P ). All I can say is that I thought these springs where good on a Coupe (When I tested them before buying) and All I can say is wow. They are awesome, The handling has tightened up significantly with very little roll. Comfort is spot on too. Oh and I previously thought they were -40mm/-40mm well they are not they are actually -45mm/-45mm. Aslo bought a few goodies (Irmscher Pedals and Alloy Richbrook Door pins(much nicer than the Irmscher one IMHO)) from Steve while I was there, so expect to see the pics in the near future. Price as always were brilliant from Steve.

Excuse the Car it is a bit dirty and new Alloys are next.

    After

One of those things that was standard on a MK3 but never transfered to the MK4 - in the same way that there are many toys on a MK4 that aren't on the equivilent MK5 as standard. Odd, really odd

Install is going very slowly, new Sub arrives this week so will finish the boot in the next two to three weeks. Need to redo the Centre console as I scratched it silly removing it. Wheels are going to be 17" and something no one else that I know of has, but I think they suit the car nicely. I am being a bit vague on purpose. Anyways I am aiming for everything to be on and done for the Xmas do.

Brad, H&R in general is regarded by many as being one of the top brands and was recommended by OPC and AMG. They make springs for Bilstein and are the factory OEM springs in all AMG cars, and have a very long Racing pedigree. Quality is top's and before I bought these I compared numerous springs(all in an Astra coupe) Including Eibach, Koni, K & W, FK and Bilstein. I chose these as they were my favorite.

Looks cool. Does it use the same key as the ignition key?
