    Removing Imy Skirts Query

Nice easy one 4 u guys and girls, just bought some new skirts for my car so i need to take off my old imy skirt. I've just had a quick look, looks like there are about 4 screws on the underside of the car, are there any other screws i need 2 b aware off, such as at the ends of the skirts and the top. I'll probably have a look 2morrow just that it's p****** it down outside and i dont want to get my hair wet :-)

Also n e other general advice would be good, easy/hard to do, are they usually glued, etc.

    By SKIRTS.

    Do you mean

    Front and rear SKIRTS?
    or
    Side SKIRTS?

    I assume it's the latter

Just read the post - you've got irmy ones on (which like keif I assume to be side ones).

Underneath there are 7 plastic rivets - push the centre pin into the bodywork with a small screwdriver. There's one at the back inside the wheel arch as well- do the same with this.

Then grab the inner edge right underneath the car and pull down and forwards - the sill will pop off and destroy other main mounting clips in the process.

    job done.

Depending on how the new ones fit, you may need to get a full set of mounting clips (go along the sill - IIRC there are 6 each side) and a set of plastic rivets - 7 big and 1 small per side.

these are irmscher skirts. are they the ones you have fitted already

you mention a grey skirt under your current skirts, i do not see how this would be possible with irmscher skirts, as the orginal black plastic skirt must be removed during the fitting.
