    GSI wouldn't start

today my GSI did something unsual.

got to work, let turbo wind down, went into work - all's well

comes out at 1pm to go for lunch and the little monkey wouldnt start.....tried twice, waited for five then tried again and she started......

anyone got any clues, did not go through big puddles on way into work or anything.......

    just got me puzzled

I've had a similar experience, though mine isn't a turbo. The reason why mine did it was because the engine was still warm (just around working temp) and apparently Astra's are tempermental at starting some times when the engine's warm. Don't know how true it is, but it seemed to tie up with mine. How long had your car been standing? Was the temp guage recording?

Sounds rather odd to me, mine never played up like this

Was the starter motor turning, or was it just clicking away to itself doing nothing ??

    Were any warning lights flashing?

When C10KEM's old car wouldn't start I think the cooling lights would flash

TBH I wouldn't worry about it, and hopefully it won't happen again
