    Backbox Rattle

I got a Peco BB4 backbox put onto my MK3 the other day and it's ok until you hit about 3k rpm and the inside of the car rattles like hell. Is there any way to cure this or will I have to put up with it?

It either needs tightening up, 'reseating' as such, or it may need to be adjusted slightly. My backbox smacked the underside of the car when I started the car up, the garage slightly bent the rods that hold it in place and the problem was solved.

If the box is specific for your astra then yes i should think so. Have a go anyway and see what happens, the worst that can happen is that it doesnt work and you put the other one back on until you get it sorted.
