Wheres A Good Place For The Earth Cable ?

Im sure its on here already but I cant find it.

Im in the process of fittin my amp in the boot. I need to know a good place for the earth cable. I've already got my drill out as I had to drill the bulk head so I was just gonna drill the boot floor and earth it there. Any better suggestions ?

    Rear light bolt.
On my Mk3 thats what i used, removed the cover, undid one of the bolts and wrapped the earth cable around it, tightened the bolt and it worked fine first time.
No problems with it, and no need to drill a hole.
My mk3,117K, and the engine is still going strong
shame about the car shell tho, lol.

Have you run signal and power leads down the same side of the car? If you have then it could be that or the earth point isnt too good

My RCA is down the right side and power/remote lead down the left, i have no problems with interference.
Can't see it being the earth, its fine on mine.
You could just test it by running the wires in the car, not hidden and then moving them to see if it affects the sound.
