    Sony Headunit Advice

    hi kids i really dont know much about this game but im thinking about one of these wee Sony CDXR3300 headunits for my vectra. does anyone know if it will work with my steering controls/display and what part i need to get to do this?

    any help would be appreciated

    Yep, pop down to Halfarts, they'll sell you the wiring to use your Steering Wheel Controls for around £30
    or if you want the display on the MFD as well. It'll be a different wire for around £60.

    cool, cheers mate. £60 is quite harsh considering its a £95 stereo but hey.

    I wudnt have anything to do with an Xplop HU, but if u like it and have heard it perform well in the flesh....

    i know they aint the best matey but i just want an mp3 player, only running std speakers etc

    I've got this in my astra, and it's not a bad HU at all. I'm well impressed with it, apart from the fact that when I plugged in my steering wheel adapter, the display button on the HU stops working, and you can't change what info it displays, i.e. ID3 tag info
