    Ebay - Please read

Not sure if this is the best place to put this post...

People are getting frustrated at others for posting up Ebay finds...
I'm one of them, but that doesn't matter as I'm skint!

This poll is to show how many of us are frustrated or not
bothered about receiving Ebay adverts/posts on astra-sport.

Please take into account, you see a product, lets say Irmscher
mirror covers going for £26 You have your eye on them...
Then some Ebay enthusiast decides to post it in the 'for sale
    section' on astra-sport!

Just as you thought you had yourself a bargain

    How do you feel? or

Please use the poll to show your feelings, maybe this can be
    addressed by the admin team.

    Small print...
I can understand if you/yourself is selling something and you/yourself would
like to advertise further... That's cool.
But advertising others advert... That's wrong!

I'm sorry if i p**s any one off, I'm just going on other astra-sport
    members reactions... :?

i've seen 5 main people that moan about it and don't see whats wrong with someone posting a genuine find. Its an auction you are meant to bid to win. OK so its not gonna be that tenner cheaper but the whole point of an auction is to bid to win not just bid and get it because no one else knows. Also think what if someone finds a bargain find that you ahven't found and think oh i wouldn't have known about that, i mean in that case you would have missed out completely anyway.

Just my point of view. I don't post em up but see people constantly having their heads bitten off for it.

didnt realise this was such a big deal to be honest :?: or that people were getting s*** from other users for doing it, dont think thats on myself.

i have found with most things on ebay that they appear to be a bargain until the last 20 mins when they rocket up to near enough retail proces.
    just my 2p.

Isnt that the whole point of Ebay, to bid. To be honest it isnt that hard to search and find stuff to bid for. I understand where you are coming from, and I prob would be frustrated too, but thats the way it is unless you make a deal directly with the seller so they can take it from auction or something??

What about if a seller has listed it in the wrong area and you come across it looking for something very different, this has been the case with the ones I have posted up. This site is to help all not just the one individual.

A lot of sites I know have a sperfic thread to let people know of ebay parts that could be of use....

Ebay is a free site to all as is astra-sport!!

i think its ok....people bit my head off about it, personnaly carry on biting. Ebay is simple, highest bidder wins. People will only pay the price that item is worth to them. If its not worth that much to you, dont bid!

    Thats my 2p worth.

Personally if your looking for something....and it comes up on ebay, but your really busy that week and dont have hours to go through all the ebay listings, id be happy for people help

    .......and with all auction sites....

You are gonna set yourself a limit as to how much you'll bid up to.

So it should not matter how many people see it !
